Instructions
- 1Preheat oven to 350°F. Whisk flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt together in a bowl.
- 2Beat sugar and oil until combined, then add eggs one at a time.
- 3Mix in buttermilk, red food coloring, vanilla, and white vinegar.
- 4Fold in dry ingredients until just combined — do not overmix.
- 5Divide batter evenly between three greased 9-inch round pans and bake 28–30 minutes.
