Privacy Policy

How World Global Kitchen handles information when you visit our website.

Last updated: August 2026

World Global Kitchen (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates this website (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we may collect when you visit the Site, how we may use it, and the choices you have. It is written in plain English so you can understand it without legal training.

By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these practices, please do not use the Site.

1.Information we may collect

We may collect information in the following ways:

Information you provide to us

We may collect information that you voluntarily provide to us. For example, if we introduce a contact form or other way for you to reach us through the Site, we may collect the information you choose to share with us through that form (such as your name and the details of your message). We will only collect what you actively enter and submit.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, we may automatically collect certain technical information about your visit, as described in the next section.

2.Website usage information

To operate, secure and improve the Site, we may collect technical information about how the Site is used, including:

  • Browser and device information, such as browser type, device type, and screen characteristics.
  • Technical information related to your connection, which may include IP-related information where applicable.
  • Pages you visit on the Site and how you navigate between them.
  • Approximate usage information, such as the general time of your visit and broad geographic region inferred from technical data.
  • Referring information, such as the website or link that brought you to the Site.
  • Diagnostic and security information used to help protect the Site and diagnose technical problems.

This information is generally collected automatically and is used in an aggregated or technical form rather than to identify you personally.

3.Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to help us understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it. Google Analytics is a web analytics service provided by Google LLC.

Our Site uses Google Analytics with the measurement ID G-YMXWC3LST2. Google Analytics collects information such as the pages you visit, how long you spend on the Site, technical information about your browser and device, and referring information. This information is typically processed in an aggregated, anonymous form.

Google may use this information to provide analytics reports to us about how the Site is used. You can learn more about how Google uses data and how you can manage or opt out of Google Analytics at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Because Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies that are not strictly necessary, your consent is managed through the Site’s consent mechanism. When you visit the Site for the first time, a consent banner is shown that lets you choose between Accept, Reject, and Manage. Choosing Accept allows Google Analytics to store and read analytics cookies on your device for this Site; choosing Reject means Google Analytics will not collect analytics data from your visit. You can change or withdraw this choice at any time using the consent preferences button, as described in the “Your choices” section below.

4.Third-party services

We may use third-party services to operate, analyse or improve the Site. These services may collect information as described in their own privacy policies.

Currently used third-party services

  • Google Analytics (measurement ID G-YMXWC3LST2) — used to understand how the Site is used, as described above.

Potential future third-party services

We may introduce additional third-party services in the future. For example, we may in future use Google AdSense or another advertising service. Any such service will be disclosed here when it is introduced, together with a description of what it does and how to manage it.

5.If we introduce Google advertising

Google AdSense and similar advertising services are not currently used on this Site. This section is included so that, if Google advertising is introduced in the future, this Privacy Policy already explains how it works.

If we introduce Google advertising, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve advertisements based on your prior visits to this website and other websites on the internet. These vendors may use information about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services that may be of interest to you.

If we introduce Google advertising, we will update this section to confirm that it is active and to explain how you can manage or opt out of the advertising cookies it uses. Until then, no advertising cookies are set by this Site.

The Site’s consent mechanism already includes an advertising choice alongside the analytics choice. Because advertising is not currently used, that advertising choice has no effect today: it does not enable any advertising cookies, and accepting or rejecting it changes nothing about how the Site operates. It is included so that, if advertising is introduced in the future, your existing choice will already apply.

6.How we may use information

We may use the information we collect to:

  • Operate, maintain and improve the Site and its features.
  • Understand how visitors use the Site through analytics.
  • Respond to messages you send us, where you have provided contact details through a future contact form.
  • Help protect the Site against misuse, fraud and security issues.
  • Comply with our legal obligations where applicable.

7.How information may be shared

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following limited ways:

  • With service providers that help us operate or analyse the Site, such as Google for Google Analytics. These providers process information under their own policies and only as needed to provide their services to us.
  • Where we are required to do so by law, regulation, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property or safety of the Site and its users.

8.How long information is kept

We keep information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, or as required by law. The specific retention period for any particular type of information depends on why it was collected and on the practices of the third-party services we use. For example, Google Analytics data is retained in line with Google’s own retention settings.

9.Your choices

You have a number of choices about how information is collected and used when you visit the Site:

  • You can manage or delete cookies and similar technologies through your browser settings. See our Cookie Policy for more detail.
  • You can opt out of Google Analytics. Google provides tools and information for doing so at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
  • You can change or withdraw your consent to non-essential storage (such as Google Analytics) at any time using the consent preferences button on the Site, which reopens the consent banner so you can update your Accept / Reject / Manage choices. Withdrawing consent stops the relevant storage from being used going forward.
  • If you provide information to us through a future contact form, you can choose what to share and can ask us to update or remove the information you provided.

10.Children

The Site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us so we can remove it.

11.International visitors

The Site may be accessed from different countries. If you are accessing the Site from outside the country where it is operated, please be aware that information may be processed in a different country, which may have different data protection laws.

12.Security

We take reasonable steps to help protect information collected through the Site. However, no website or method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee the security of information.

13.Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically so you understand any changes.

14.Contacting us about privacy

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or about how we handle information, we want to hear from you.

A dedicated contact form is being prepared for this Site and will be available soon. In the meantime, please check back here for an official contact method. We have not published a contact email address on this Site yet because we do not want to direct messages to an address that is not yet monitored.

Once an official contact method is available, it will be added to this section and to our Contact page.
